Pool games are nothing new. Many are available as shareware titles for download. But those simple top-down games are more frustrating than fun because they¡¯re so difficult. The graphics are usually poor, and the perspective is too difficult to line up a shot.
Real Pool, by WizardWorks, also the publisher of the Deer Hunter series, aims to fix that with what they call photo-realistic real-time 3D graphics with 360-degree freedom of movement. At least that¡¯s what the marketing people say on the box. Is it even close? Well, in short, no.
